Its 12:11am and I am baking a corn souffle for tomorrows potluck at work, so I figured now is a better time than ever to write down a few major pointers of my current life status.
1. I really need to go to bed earlier. Or wake up earlier. The thing is, I live 5 minutes from work and I still manage to show up late and with sheet marks on my face because I havent been awake for more than 30 minutes.
2. Found out today that graduation lands on my birthday. Um… I want an unnatural amount of affection that day.
3. Ive been trying to squeeze in the little time I have left between getting to class and wanting to bang my head against my professors little laptop to do some extra curricular reading that I miss so much. I actually just end up printing out pieces of literature on computer paper and take it to class so it looks like im reading something related to whatever it is he talks about for 2 hours. Errday im hustling.
4. Have you ever walked away from something and then you kind of miss it but the more you think about it the more you remember why you left in the first place? Ugh, im there. Dangit.
5. Saw the movie “like crazy” last weekend. Twice. The second time was actually bootleg cause im too cheap to pay for it again, but nevertheless… I loved it. Soo cute.
6. I love country music like if it was my soul mate. I feel like we belong to eachother. And I love One Republic. With all of my heart. But Faith Hill doing “come home”? No. There is not even an ounce of me that is down with that. I loved Blake Sheltons rendition of “home” & “god gave me you”… Heck, I was even ok with reba doing “if I was a boy”… But this???? No faith hill, no.
7. I just burnt the corn souffle. And my forearm.
